Wake the kids up! Yes Nora still usually sleeps in her swing.
Morning kisses for Nora <3 (I know it's not in focus)
Hubby gets home (8am)
Funny thing is he walks in, I'm taking photos, he strikes a pose and never asks why I'm up taking photos at 8am.
I pack the kids up and head to work!
This is work. Just last year my parents bought a new house and moved their company to a home business so I work out of their home now. Which has it's perks but it also sucks sometimes.
Drop the kids off with Grandma
Walk in the next room to my office
I print emails and Marcus comes in to help. He loves taking the paper out of the printer and putting it on Grandpa's desk, regardless if it's suppose to go on his desk or mine.
Grandpa says hi to Nora
I feed Nora, Grandma gets Marcus some fruitloops that he is eating off camera :)
Grandma feeds Nora her bottle and I go to sit down at my desk and Marcus wants to paint so I get him set up to paint
I'm finally able to sit down at my desk and get some actual work done, at least for a minute...
This is Kiwi he likes to hang out on top of my desk.
This is Shop Kitty. We rescued her as a stray 7 years ago and she lived in our old shop to keep the mice away.
View from my desk to the backyard where Marcus is painting, grandma has joined him now to help
Meanwhile Nora is playing
Marcus comes in to my office to color occasionally
Nora plays... ignore the limb chops I was using my 85mm all day and was too lazy to change my lens.
So it's friday and I have a billion things to do, 3 banks, post office, drop off some payments, etc. So sometimes my mom comes with and we just load up the kids and let them nap while we run around. Really I could do the running around and my mom could stay and watch the kids but lately with the weather nice marcus has been a pill to put down for naps so it's just easier.
I finally get him dressed at 1pm! My moms excuse for him still being in pjs "It'seasier for him to get his pants down to go potty with the pj pants on."
In the car at our first bank stop, grandma ran in.
Lunch... nice wholesome meal Mcdonalds!
Running around took forever and being stopped by a train didn't help.
Finally back to work
I finish up working really quickly. Not that I did a whole lot in the office.
Then it's time to go.
Marcus is outside playing ball with Grandpa and one of the employees
Grumpy Nora
Home.. daddy says hi to Nora
Hubby, who has still yet to ask me why I am taking photos
Playtime while I get dinner ready
Meanwhile Hubby is... Sleeping! I swear he isn't that much of a bum. He just switched to graveyard recently and hasn't really adjusted yet. Plus Fridays are like his Mondays so it's really hard on his body to get used to it.
I was getting dinner ready and Nora started crying so I handed her to hubby so I can finish up his dinner and this is what I come back to. Nora and Daddy both love to sleep
Dinner time for Marcus and I, usually we eat as a family but on this day I let the hubby sleep.
Playtime after dinner before bath, today he picked puzzles.
I wake Nora up to feed her some cereal
Bathtime for both of them. Sometimes hubby helps. He usually he just watches Marcus for me while I bathe Nora. Marcus always wants me to get him out of the bath though. So I have to get Nora out, drain the water in Marcus tub, then go put her down and get Marcus. Sometimes I hand Nora off to Hubby depending on what he is doing.
Bedtime
Watching a little TV before bed. Yes I let him sleep with me. Such a bad habit, but since Hubby is on graveyard I haven't really pushed the issue to get him in his own bed.
He hates his own bed but wants to sleep in Nora's crib with her. He said mommy sleep and started making snoring noises.
Nora starts like this, swaddled in her crib
Then slowly gets her arms out
And eventually in the middle of the night I move her to her swing.
I was planning on taking a photo of hubby leaving for work but I fell asleep with Marcus as usual, and didn't do anything I was supposed to do.
I'd say over 50% of the time I end up sleeping in my clothes because I don't mean to fall asleep I just lay down for a second and then pass out.
So that's a hectic day in my life. Now I know why I'm always behind at work.
