13 Months!!

Today Marcus is officially 13 months old, I can't believe it! I decided to start a milestone check list. I was going to list everything he can do but I seen on another blog someone just used the monthly milestone list and checked off the one's baby can do so I think I'll do that instead.

Most babies should be able to . . .

CHECK - Say two or more words other than mama or dada
CHECK - Stand well
CHECK - Bend over to pick up objects
CHECK - Take a few steps
CHECK - Walk with help

Some babies will probably be able to . . .

CHECK - Drink from a cup independently
CHECK - Say three or more words other than mama or dada
CHECK - Respond to command without gestures
NOT SURE - Scribble with markers or crayons

Some babies could possibly be able to . . .

CHECK - Try and lift heavier objects
CHECK - Roll a ball back and forth more actively
CHECK - Combine words and gestures to make his or her needs known
CHECK - Walk well

I was reading the other day about letting them play with crayons and so I am planning on getting some when I go to the store. I thought it was too young still since he still puts a lot in his mouth.

Marcus has also pooped in his potty a total of 4 or 5 times now. We aren't officially potty training but helping him become familiar with it so he isn't afraid of it. He seems to understand you're suppose to poop in there since he always tries when he sits on it lol

He talks all the time, can throw things overhand, he can kick a ball, he's been dancing since he was 9 months old. He amazes me every day.

Today is the Oregon Duck's championship game which is a pretty big deal around here so here are some pictures today of Marcus sporting his t-shirt.

I don't let Marcus watch tv but he loves watching football for some reason so I've let him glance at the tv here and there tonight.
